Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, and his wife Brittany Mahomes are expecting their third child. The couple, both 28 years old, involved their two children, 3-year-old Sterling Skye and 1-year-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, in announcing the news.
They shared the announcement in a heartwarming Instagram Reel posted on Friday. In the video, Sterling holds up sonograms to the camera while she and her younger brother dance around and pose for family photos with Patrick and Brittany.
“Round three, here we come,” Brittany captioned the video.
Patrick and Brittany, who have been together since high school, got engaged in September 2020 after Patrick’s Super Bowl LIV ring ceremony at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. They announced their first pregnancy later that same month. The couple tied the knot in 2022 and revealed they were expecting their second child later that year.
In a recent interview on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, Patrick praised his wife, describing her as a “hall of fame mom and a hall of fame wife.” He highlighted her role in managing their home life, allowing him to focus on football and his career.
“She pushes me to be great,” Mahomes said, “and she’s done a lot of great things herself.”
