The docuseries features deeply personal first-person accounts from former Peoples Temple members, such as Leslie Wagner Wilson and Yulanda Williams. These stories offer a poignant and raw perspective on the hope and horror experienced within the community. Additionally, it includes testimonies from key figures like Jackie Speier, a former member of Congress and aide to U.S. Representative Leo Ryan, who was present during the tragic events.

Adding to the narrative’s depth, Charles Krause, a former Washington Post foreign correspondent, shares his harrowing experience reporting on the massacre. The series also presents a unique and haunting perspective from David Netterville, a former Special Ops Air Force Sergeant. Netterville, who was among the first three U.S. service members to enter Jonestown in the immediate aftermath, speaks about his experience for a documentary for the first time. Including insights from Jim Jones’ son, Stephan Jones, providing  an intimate glimpse into the man behind the tragedy.
