Prepare to step onto the field of dreams as the highly anticipated blockbuster event, the UNINTERRUPTED Film Festival powered by Tribeca Festival, makes its triumphant return for its second year on July 9-10 in the iconic movie-making capital of the world, Los Angeles. In this electrifying intersection where the silver screen meets the roar of the crowd, sports and stories entwine seamlessly, crafting their own captivating “Cinderella story” moments or, dare I say, Hollywood endings.
UNINTERRUPTED, the award-winning athlete storytelling brand within The SpringHill Company (TSHC), and Tribeca Enterprises, the multi-platform media entertainment company founded by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro, join forces once again to bring you a two-day extravaganza that blurs the lines between sports, entertainment, and culture. This year’s festival is all about pushing boundaries and celebrating the intersection of sports culture and filmmaking. New elements have been added, including a filmmaker submission process that invites up-and-coming talents to showcase their projects. Selected films will premiere at the festival and be honored as part of the inaugural class of UNINTERRUPTED Film Festival award recipients.
Headlining the festival’s selection committee are global icon and Chairman of The SpringHill Company (TSHC) LeBron James, tennis star, co-founder of Hana Kuma and Evolve, and activist Naomi Osaka, along with 7-time NBA All-Star and 2023 NBA MVP Joel Embiid. These powerhouse names in sports and activism bring their unique perspectives to curate an electrifying lineup of films that capture the essence of sports storytelling. It’s all about bringing new voices and exciting narratives to center stage, making this year’s festival an unforgettable celebration of creativity and talent.
