
Xtra Access TV Debuts Exclusive Clip of “Presumed Innocent” Episode 6

“Presumed Innocent,” starring and executive produced by Academy Award and Tony Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, is a gripping adaptation of Scott Turow’s New York Times bestselling novel. This limited series, brought to life by multi-Emmy Award winners David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams, delves into a horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney’s office when one of its own is suspected of the crime. The narrative weaves through themes of obsession, sex, politics, and the power and limits of love, as the accused struggles to maintain his family and marriage amid the turmoil.
The sixth episode is set to premiere on Wednesday, July 10 on Apple TV+, with new episodes following every Wednesday through July 24.
Produced by Bad Robot Productions and David E. Kelley Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, “Presumed Innocent” boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers. J.J. Abrams and Rachel Rusch Rich helm the production for Bad Robot, while David E. Kelley serves as showrunner and executive producer through his own production company, alongside Matthew Tinker. Dustin Thomason, Sharr White, and Jake Gyllenhaal also contribute as executive producers. Scott Turow and Miki Johnson are on board as co-executive producers. Directing the series are Anne Sewitsky, who handles the first two episodes and episode eight, and Emmy Award-winner Greg Yaitanes, who directs episodes three through seven.
The series features a stellar cast including Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Elizabeth Marvel, Nana Mensah, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, and Kingston Rumi Southwick. “Presumed Innocent” made its global debut on Apple TV+ on June 12 with the release of the first two episodes, continuing to captivate audiences every week.
