MEGHAN MCCAIN DISHES ON JENNIFER LOPEZ

McCain, who co-hosted the popular morning show from 2017 to 2021, described J.Lo as “a deeply unpleasant person” during her appearance on the show.

In a candid episode of her podcast ‘Citizen McCain,’ former ‘The View’ co-host Meghan McCain didn’t hold back when discussing her past encounter with pop icon Jennifer Lopez.

While Meghan McCain acknowledged that Jennifer Lopez is currently facing a wave of negative media attention, she insisted that her personal experience with the superstar was far from pleasant. Comparing Lopez to other celebrities like Kim Kardashian, McCain remarked that Kardashian was “delightful” in contrast to Lopez.

Adding fuel to the fire, McCain recounted an incident where Lopez’s entourage seemingly surpassed that of a President’s. “My big memory of J.Lo is there was a person whose entire job it was to hold up a mirror with lights while they were touching her up backstage,” McCain revealed. “I remember being like, ‘That poor man. What a weird job.’”

McCain’s comments didn’t stop there. She and her co-host, Miranda Wilkins, accused Lopez of targeting their podcast after a TikTok they posted in April, declaring Lopez to be in her “flop era,” sparked backlash. Despite the controversy, McCain stood firm on her stance, even joking about the trouble her comments might stir up.

Jennifer Lopez has indeed been under intense scrutiny over the past several months. Her latest album, ‘This is Me…Now,’ received mixed reviews, and the visual counterpart to the album did not fare much better. Additionally, her recent documentary was criticized as self-indulgent, and it was reported that Lopez invested $20 million of her own money into these projects, only to face underwhelming responses.

On top of her professional struggles, Lopez’s personal life has been a hot topic, with rumors swirling about her marriage to Ben Affleck being on the rocks. Old interviews have resurfaced, casting her in an unfavorable light as she tries to assert her Bronx roots, which many have found cringeworthy.

So, Xtralities readers, what do you think? Is this just another instance of media piling on J.Lo, or are people justified in speaking out? Are you over the J.Lo bullying, or do you believe it’s time for the star to face some hard truths? Let us know your thoughts!
