Travis Kelce on why he wasn’t able to be Taylor Swift’s date at the 2024 Grammys

Travis Kelce, 34, won’t be joining Taylor Swift at the 2024 Grammys as he prepares for Super Bowl LVIII. “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for,” Kelce expressed during a Wednesday, January 31, appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. “I think I got practice.”
The Kansas City Chiefs player explained that his Super Bowl preparations are hindering him from attending the music awards show with Swift, 34, who is nominated for six awards. “I know I got practice on Saturday, but Sunday is a travel day,” Kelce shared. “Unfortunately, I got to get ready for this big old Super Bowl.”
The Chiefs, led by Kelce, will face off against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 11. Swift had previously attended Kelce’s game, witnessing the Chiefs secure their Super Bowl spot by defeating the Baltimore Ravens and several other games before them causing quite the stir.
