New Leah McSweeney bombshell lawsuit claims
A recent lawsuit sheds light on the alleged troubling culture within Bravo, depicting it as a dysfunctional environment where drug use, particularly cocaine, is rampant, alcohol abuse is encouraged, and sexual misconduct is overlooked. According to court documents filed by Leah McSweeney, who appeared on “RHONY” from 2020 until 2021 and then “RHUGT” in 2023, it’s alleged that Andy Cohen, the network’s figurehead, engages in cocaine use with select “Real Housewives” stars and provides preferential treatment to those involved. Additionally, the lawsuit accuses Bravo of failing to address sexual harassment by a senior producer.
McSweeney claims that Bravo exploited her alcohol addiction for ratings, disregarding her attempts to seek help. Seeking unspecified damages, McSweeney’s lawsuit targets Cohen, Bravo, Shed Media, and Warner Media. Despite denials from Cohen’s representative, the allegations remain contentious. The lawsuit further alleges a culture within Bravo that fosters substance abuse and fails to accommodate employees struggling with addiction.
Moreover, it implicates Shed Media for allegedly promoting a producer accused of sexual harassment. These allegations, according to McSweeney’s legal team, indicate a pattern of neglect by Bravo and Shed Media, allowing unlawful practices to persist unchecked.
Andy Cohen’s former friend and CNN New Year’s Eve co-host, alleged that Cohen offered her cocaine before her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” twice. Cohen responded, stating, “I am completely stunned by this story. It is 100% false and totally made up.”
